Hi guys, I'm not sure whether my 'restricted backstage pass' encompasses threads, but here goes:
Basically, I want to know about you and your character: a basic bio up to this point. I've skimmed through some of the threads on the Z-Legion Forums, but my information on most of you guys is dead patchy. A big reason for me doing this is so i get a feel of how the party is constructed, so that I can base my own concepts an ideas to not feel obtrusive. Hell, my original idea already stepped on three people's toes, and it'l be good to know what potential gaps there are in Z-Legion (if any)
Sooo yes: origin, personalty, goal, whether your character has any special abilities/what they may specialise in (if not abilities), favorite colour, right handed or left ... you name it If it's relevant, include it If it's irrelevant, include it anyway It would be nice to ask about character to character relations, but I'm pretty sure theres a thread on that already.
Oh, and if you could link me to your chars Prologue comics, if you have one, that'd be awesome
Cheers a bunch!

My 'restricted backstage pass' encompasses threads, so I don't see why yours shouldn't.

Why don't you tell us about yourself before undeservingly demanding such information?

Why don't you tell us about yourself before undeservingly demanding such information? Defensive, are we, June? I have trusted Tom enough to tell him about Latchkey, and he only wants to learn more about the other characters and setting in Z-Legion because he needs some support with his own character.

Latchkey is usally left handed when firing a gunblade, and right handed with single-hand combat, though often she weilds a gunblade with both hands. However, she's a lefty when it comes to writing/drawing.
I already told you a lot about Latchkey's prologue so yeh.

Yes, I grew defensive because it's peculiar to find someone who so directly finds my weak spot: I love to talk about myself.
...
Ljyx is a dragon. He lives on land, breathes disease, and can fly short distances. He can shapeshift into a humanoid form but is very clumsy with it. His main ability is telekinesis, which he uses in clever ways to give the illusion of having other abilities (such as super strength).
During his lifetime he met his soulmate, for whom he so loved that he left life on land to live with her. After this, he became a sea-dwelling dragon. He also deserted his career of being a General to be with her. During the event which brought about the "apocalypse," he and his love were separated, and he injured.
Ljyx was put into a coma, but retained his power of telekinesis, using this to construct a sturdy exoskeleton of metal. This is the form which Ljyx appears in as Zyrd (note that Ljyx is pronounced "Lee," so that a pun arises from these two names). The pseudonym, Zyrd, is for the purpose of hiding from those he deserted so many decades ago.
I could go on.

Sparks.
Origin: Sparks was part of an experiment to create a race of super-beings. He was one of the first to have been given electric powers. However, the scientists found him to be far too powerful, and after killing several of the workers who tried to tranquilize him, they put him in stasis (they also decided to make the rest of the experiments far less powerful). He stayed in containment for nearly ten years, until a malfunction caused him to regain consciousness briefly, and the pent up power that he put out caused an explosion that nearly destroyed the entire prison.
Personality: Sparks, having most of his experience with humans result in pain and abuse, is very slow to trust anyone. He is neurotic, and very curious about anything new that he experiences.
Goal: TO GET AWAY FROM THAT PRISON RUNRUNRUN.
Abilities: Sparks has the power to store massive amounts of electricity in his body and release it as an attack. The more he has in his body, the higher his energy becomes, eventually elevating to points where he has nearly super-human speed and stamina, trailing sparks from his body. He is naturally attracted to places where large amounts of electricity are being discharged, like downed electric poles or lightning storms. He is, obviously, immune to electricity, so he can serve as an excellent lightnig rod if tied to a pole and held above.
Favorite Color: Green, he loves plants.
Dominant hand: Right.

Okay, so here's some info on Evalyn Odds LeFayrion:
Origin Evalyn was born in 395 A.D., to a lower class family of the seafaring dragons descended from Larazid Keey. She wasn't allowed out of her estate beyond the gardens, where she tended to a plethora of medicinal herbs. Long story short, humans drove dragons to the brink of extinction, and in a desperate attempt to preserve the species, Evalyn and her mate, Ljyx, were sent to take refuge in the ocean. Some 1500 years later, they resurfaced into a post-apocalyptic world, and were attacked and separated. Nearly five years after, Evalyn wakes up to find herself prisoner to the Archetech Militia, in hopes of luring out General Ljyx. She breaks out of confinement, and leads security in a merry chase around the compund, until she tricks them into firing at their generators, resulting in a huge explosion.
Some time later, she runs into Arg "Rocket Fist" Star, a bounty hunter sent to capture her and bring her back to the militia.
Personality and Mannerisims Evalyn is typically shy and quiet unless angered. (Most) People can sense that she wishes harm upon no one and are drawn to her aura of safety. Extremely protective towards Ljyx and young children.
Strengths She has an excellent array of defensive spells and charms, as well as a few potent hexes and curses. Combining these, she has a near-impenetrable defense. She is an excellent healer and knows just about every sort of herb out there, and can cite from memory where they grow, what they do if consumed raw, and what they can be used to make.
Weaknesses If her defense is bypassed, she is ill-equipped to go into a hand-to-hand combat situation. If this happens, she will try to scare off the opponent by switching to her dragon form, in oppose to using brute force. She can be gulled into thinking Ljyx is in some sort of trouble, in which she abandons her defense and is like a juggernaut. However, she is oblivious to everything around her in this beserker state of mind.
Miscellaneous She doesn't like those who act high-and-mighty, though she doesn't refuse kindnesses to them. She loves the colors green and purple. Ambidextrious. Technologically inept. Loves pure dark chocolate, and can make a meal out of almost anything.

Oh I didn't write those cute little details about Ljyx.
If you want to pacify Ljyx completely, give him something that's tangled. He'll stop whatever he's doing and spend as long as it takes to untangle it. God forbid he's discovered you've handed him a purposefully tangled loop; he'll drop it and hunt you down without a thought to anything else.
Ljyx also loves collecting small metal objects, especially keys. Finding a key brightens up his day like a freshly picked flower. Give him a key, and he'll slightly begin to trust you. His dwelling consists mostly of many, many shelves to hold his vast collections of metal objects. Think of Disney's The Little Mermaid.
Ljyx prefers the cold, but dislikes the damp. He prefers the night over the day and dislikes bright lights. He is secretly hot-blooded; quick to anger, but he contains it well.

Ah, Odds reminded me of some stuff I should write in about Sparks.
Sparks' Weaknesses: Resistors. Things like glass and rubber will succeed in dampening the energy of his attacks. He is also very weak against physical blows, and is only good in hand-to-hand combat when pepped-up on electricity. He's also terrified of Evalyn's dragon form, going into a panic and wondering where Evalyn went.
Misc.: Sparks will blindly follow Reap, because it was he who first encountered Sparks after Sparks escaped. He'll eat almost anything, and with gusto, because they simply gave him nutrient shots every day at the prison. His main way of investigating new things, after quickly glancing at them, is to bite them. Unfortunately, this includes things like poisonous plants and (in the case of Reap) grenades.

Ah, so Sparks is very niave in nature (and in nature nature). I love his affinity for plantlife, particularly considering he's the ultimate killing machine !! Btw, was Sparks souly created by the scientists (like from scratch), or was he originally a human who was experimented on? And a question thats been niggling at me: what happens if he takes his shock-absorber boots off? D:

Think of Disney's The Little Mermaid. heh i try not to oh and with Ljyx's tendency to untangle things, does that encompass knots? Or is it a tendency to sort things out? If so, what would happen if i threw him a rubix cube? =O (Sorry for all these silly questions, but I think all these character habits are GREAT =D)

The boots essentially hold the energy inside him until he lets it out. If he were to take them off, he would no longer be able to control when the bolts of electricity came out, nor where they went.
