What do you think of Latchkey's prologue?
I know it's a bit corny... but I redid it numerous times.
It's all in ink... but my pen was dying... ehh...

Too long; didn't read.
I kid, really. I'm too much of a sucker for romance/drama. Oh, our tragic hero! I actually quite liked it, for some reason. What witchery is this!

I thought it terrible and sappy, Alyssa. It was awful. Shutup. No one likes you Alyssa.
It's not really tragic... just serious.
But hey, Latch is an optimist mostly. You'll see... I don't want my character to be a pussy-assed whiner the whole time.

Stop beating yourself up all the time, dammit. D8< The story was fine, with subtle romance plot but still focussing on the conflict at hand. It was short and to the point, without leaving anything out. The only thing you'd even have to think on working on would be anatomy drawing and whatnot, but that goes without saying. Also perhaps, at a stretch, paneling (what panels are what sizes etc.) and framing (how things are viewed in the panel; this term is borrowed from film/tv), but those you could pick up simply from observing other's material (personally, I got it from reading tons of manga, but you can do it another way).
I suppose the key point is that you got something done, which is a lot more than any of us have to show thusfar. Storywriting, drawing, whatever all goes to waste if it's not put together and presented, eh?

TOLD YOU SO TOLD YOU SO TOLD YOU SO I had to rush through it.

Yeahbut see, I was pointing out ways to improve, whereas you were simply pointing out your mistakes. :D See how helpful I can be? Yes? No?
