A vital part of any battle is the setting. For example, falling in lava isn't a big problem when you're fighting in a castle or something, but watch out if you're in some volcano dungeon! So I propose we create a world with recognizable places but that's flexible enough for artists to still make changes without having to bug the rest of us about. For one thing there needs to be nuclear fallout zones for my babies to dwell, as well as dead zones that are completely lost to various kinds of monsters. There must also be pockets of civilization that are still intact, or have some kind of barter system in place. Additionally, there might also be cities that are survive relatively well-off because of the implement of martial law. Basically my point is there should be a wide variety of places to work with. Contrarily, we could leave it completely open, where it'll be easy to make stuff up in a pinch, but there's also the chance of a ton of plot holes. What do you think?

I say that radioactive bugs and the like should inhabit a post-First Strike zone, like New York City or London, so that you could kind of get the feel of an urban motorcycle gang. A nuclear attack would probably level the city, but for effect I'd go with the burned-out-remnants concept kind of like they had in the first The Matrix.

Also, there are cities and large groups of civilization in the stretching Empire of Panada. They happen to be plagued by these enemies (Zombies and bugs and such) quite often. I mean, those are the severe public issues mentioned my my prologue.

Yes. We gonna draw a map of sorts? If we do, the Panadian Empire needs to be HUGE.

Arg is currently in Tech-Sys.... Get it?.. Future Texas!?.. LOLZORS.. DX Dude we should so have tons of modern cities that are puns of present ones. Tech-sys sounds more cyberpunk, though. Can we fit cyberpunk into a post-apocalyptic environment when more than half the world is lost to zombies, monsters, etc.?

And Hong Kong should be King's Kong. And let's have lots of references to things...

I don't think we should draw maps, just say that we are going to appear in random places is already fine.
for example, in Reap's prolouge, he appears at a town I made up, "Thompson town" I don't know if there is an actual one, but I don't think there is.

Okay, that's perfect. We'll just make up everything along the way. And if there's a plothole, we'll fill it with more lies...I mean, made-up stuff. You know!

BUT WHAT ABOUT ACTUAL YORK? Now what are we guna name that? D: If all else fails, say it got obliterated We could always call it, "Beta" or, "Prototype". It came first and was fundamental to the creation of a " New York".

Now what are we guna name that? D: If all else fails, say it got obliterated I thought that was Alyssa being dumb again but it turns out it was the new guy. HI NEW GUY. Anyway, I think the most prominent locations should be references to the locations of the artists themselves, since the characters are transliterations of the artists as well. For example, Arg mentioned that his character would be in Tech-sys (Texas). (lol it sounds like he's going to meet a gang of robots that thinks he's a reverse-cyborg.) What do you think, should Los Angeles become the City of Lost Angels (shit, nearly wrong Angles. It is totally round it has no angles). I think it's been done before. Or maybe something dumb or obscure, like Wakelude (or even dumber, Lake Wood, or Woodlake...nonono, Bellwood (Bellflower+Lakewood), although it's an un-official area between the two cities, you wouldn't know unless you'd been there). Alyssa already has her vast crumbling empire of Panada, so the rest of us are behind as far as locations go.
